Animal Rights = No Pets Left

The Animal Rights Goals:

1. Abolish by law all animal research. (There would be no cures for AIDS, cancer, heart disease, the
March of Dimes and Jerry's Kids would be neutered
.)

2. Outlaw the use of animals for cosmetic and product testing, and classroom demonstration
(physicians would perform their first surgeries and procedures on humans without any previous
experience
. Your vets first spay would be on your dog.)

3. Ve
gan meals should be at all public institutions, including schools.(No meat, No eggs, No milk,
No Cheese, No fish)

4. Eliminate all animal agriculture
(resulting in no milk, eggs, chicken, fish, or meat for food, no
leather for shoes or clothing)
.

5. Eliminate all herbicides, pesticides or other agricultural chemicals.  Outlaw predator
control.(
Farmers would not be able to kill pests who destroy their crops...driving the cost of living
up, and eliminating the export of food to hungry nations. Animals such as coyotes and feral hogs are
already a problem in some areas, coming into yards to eat garbage and prey upon outdoor pets.)

6. Transfer enforcement of animal welfare legislation away from the Department of Agriculture.
(Animal issues would be controlled by people with little or no experience in customary animal
husbandry. This is NOW the law in TEXAS with
the passage of HB 1451 an Dog and Cat Breeders)

7. Eliminate fur ranching and the use of furs.

8. Prohibit hunting, trapping and fishing.
(Some cultures in the US subsist only by hunting and
fishing such as Inuit)

9. End the international trade in wildlife goods.

10. Stop any further breeding of companion animals, including purebred dogs and cats.
Spaying
and neutering should be subsidized by state and municipal governments until all
companion animals are extinct
. Abolish commerce in animals for the pet trade.  Eliminate ALL
ANIMAL
ownership.

11. End the use of animals in entertainment and sports (r
esulting in no horse shows, cat or dog shows,
animal actors, rodeos, animal movie stars).

12. Prohibit the genetic manipulation of the species
(resulting in the elimination of critical medical
research relating to Cancer, AIDS and other life threatening diseases, as well as crop production
improvements such as the difference between the Holstein and the Angus, and eliminate all
pedigreed animals, etc... ).

Animal Rights groups use a method of legislative theory called
incrementalism. By changing public
policy in very small steps they will ultimately get to all 12 of their goals listed above. Keep in mind
HSUS , THLN and PeTA all have polictical lobbyists in each state and each state director for HSUS
is a LAWYER! These "animal law" lawyers write the bills and then "Donate" money to specific
legislators in order to get those bills passed.

In the case of Texas we can thank Rep Thompson and Senator Whitmire of Houston. They were
bought and paid for by the animal rights groups and for their donations HSUS and THLN got several
very significant bills that will affect your lives in the future.

HB 1451 will ensure that the only people producing companion pets will be puppy mills  and back
yard breeders those who do not currently follow the law.

HB 963 will ensure that if you are convicted of an animal cruelty offense you will NOT be able to
afford to appeal. This is unconscionable. Keep in mind for animal cruelty you are tried in the JP
(justice of the peace)
court and not a regular criminal court. Justice of the Peace are not lawyers let
alone judges. Imagine the horror of being unjustly accused and convicted and then being unable to
appeal the process to a higher "real" court because you can not afford it.
There have been significant
cases in the last two years that higher courts have overturned on appeal. The reason for this is that the
Animal rights crowd has infiltrated our animal control and legislative departments. Their concept of
cruel is often normal animal husbandry!

To the animal rights crowd:

You breed ONE puppy you are a puppy mill.

Breeding is animal cruelty.

The ends justifies the means, therefore they will lie, distort the truth,
break the law and/or act subversively to push their agenda.
